Sekanak Traditional Market

                         There are many traditional markets in Palembang city such as 16 ilir market, Pal 5 market, Cinde market, Kuto market, Sekanak Market, and etc. Sekanak Market is one of the famous traditional market in Palembang city. There are three reason why Sekanak market become one of the famous traditional market in Palembang city. First of all, the location of Sekanak Traditional market is very strategic. For example, the location of Sekanak Traditional market is not far from the center city of Palembang, more exactly in the east of Kuto Besak Fort. Beside that, Sekanak traditional market is in coastal Sekanak river.Because of that, we called the market is Sekanak Traditional market. Second, Sekanak market is a very very comfortable traditonal market in Palembang city. For example, along the way of Sekanak market is very clean and the cool air comes from the air stream of sekanak river.Third, there is a special commodity who special sold in Sekanak market,that is banana. For example,we can find many kind of bananas such as Gedah, Ambon, Putri, Nangka, Tanduk, Kepok, Mas, and Susu. Beside that, there are different ways to consumed each kinds of the bananas. For example, Emas, Putri, Ambon and udang just can be eaten directly. And than, Lilin, Nangko, Kepok, and Tanduk are consumed by fried , made into compote (kolak) and bananas chips, while Geda is only consumed by made into Rimpi (sale) and in boiled. For another thing, I get informations from the treders in Sekanak Traditional market  that the bananas who sold in there come from many regions such as from Lampung, Belitang, OKU distric, Muaraenim distric and etc.In addition, the bananas from that regions bring by ships who stop at the dock of sekanak river.In addition , the price of bananas who sold in Sekanak Taditional Market is very cheap, start from Rp.10.000 until Rp.100.000 per bunch of bananas. Finally, Sekanak Traditional Market is an interesting place to visited.

A Personal Letter

Palembang,  January 12nd  2012

Dear my beloved friend

How are you dear, i hope you will be better after you read  my letter.

i want to tell you about my first meeting with Nandra's family.

Last week , nandra invited me to had dinner with his family in a restaurant in here. i very happy because it was the first meeting between i and his parents. But , on the day that i will meet his family , i got my first day menses and i was not been feeling well. And on seven o'clock Nandra piked me in my house and altough i wasn't feelling well, i still went with him because i thought it was my special day. And on the way, i said with him that i was not felt well and my stomach is sick . He said " ohh dear , maybe its because you're nervous, its okay we will eat many foods over there" , he laugh and he only think that i was hungry but actually i want to went to toilet . But, before i told him that i want to went to toilet ,we had already arrived to the restaurant . I met his parents and he introduced me to his parents. And than they ordered the foods, after our orders came, we ate the foods ,,and during that  i was not feeling well, i whisper to nandra that i want to go to toilet . And his mother asked nandra " what happen with you dear?", " no mom, she want to go to toilet , i think she want to defecate" he laugh . I closed his mouth and hear that his mother just cackled. i was so  embarrassed . Saw i like that , he so laugh ...... huufftthh, it was realy ridiculous experience.. Ok i think that all my story, how about you? do you have ridiculous experience like me ? write soon :)

MY HOUSE IS MY HOME 

           My house is not really spacious but my house is very comfortable to live. It has many rooms. There are living room, family room, three bedrooms, kitchen, dining hall, bathroom, and spacious washing room. The most comfortable room in my house is family room, because family room is a big room in my house. My family room has many thing who make me so comfortable to spent my spare time with my family in here, such as for entertaiment there are television and DVD player. And than, there are fur rug and big fan. And than, the next comfortable space in my house is the washing room. Because my washing room is spacious room in my house. I and my family can do anything in there such as washing clothes, dishes, our motorcycle, my brother's bicycle and sometimes my young brother plays a bath in here, not only washing anything we can do another thing such as drying clothes because my washing room is open space. Actually not only family room and washing room are comfortable place in my house. Another rooms are also comfortable because my house is my home :)

Describe of My Bedroom

     My bedroom is one of my favorite place to spend my spare time. For me,my bedroom is not only for sleep,but also i can do anything in my bedroom such as browsing,study,watching television,and also share with my lovely sister.My bedroom is also comfortable place to relax.The wall color of my bedroom is yellow. There is a bed consisting of two pillows and two bolster pillows in the corner of my bedroom. The colors of my  bed cover,my pillow case and bolster is purple. And also there is purple teddy bear in my bed. I love sleep in my bed because purple is my favorite color. And than, there is a television in front of the bed. Before sleep, usually i am watching my favorite progam in television.I also can study in my bedroom,because i have a desk beside the windows .The color is black. there are many books, pencil case,and desk lamp on the desk.The wall of my bedroom full of posters,drawing and my photo frames.My bedroom is also clean and sweet-smelling,because i always sweep and swab the floor,and i always give air freshener.Finally, i like linger in my bedroom for do anything. i like my bedroom very much. :)
